State Assessment

CAASPP-Smarter Balanced
The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) System was established on January 1, 2014. The CAASPP System replaced the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program, which became inoperative on July 1, 2013.  During the 2013-14 school year the new online assessment was field tested.   This assessment is designed to align to the new California State Standards for English-Language Arts and Mathematics.  There were no student, school, or district scores from that field test.  The first operational administration of the test was in the spring of 2015 and scores from that administration were released September 2015
